If it took place far enough back as to predate humans, then it might be a good film. After all, you wouldn't have all of the dialog and "plot" that made the last one such a POS.

my idea for Transformers 2 is to make it like the first one, except bring in more characters and mature the plot a little bit. Mainly, focus on the transformers and their stories, not the humans.
But see, the first movie was a test of the waters, see what they could do and still keep viewer interest. That's why Soundwave wasn't involved, due to size changing, but with the cube able to change size, maybe they'll bring in Soundwave proper for the sequel?

My idea for transformers 2. Shoot the action sequences a better so that you can actually tell whats going on and not just 'stuff blows up'. Get rid of all the product placement and just tell a good story damnit!
agreed. It seems everyone who loved Transformers would have been just as happy doing a google image search for Megan Fox. Should have saved their money.

agreed again. it definitely was no academy award-winning world-class film, but it was definitely an enjoyable summer action movie that had life to it (more life than most summer action flicks). It was a fun movie to watch, and for, has yet to grow old, even after multiple viewings. Most action movies bore me after a few watches.

it was an enjoyable summer action movie, however it did not do any justice to transformers. not to mention as everyone said earlier the plot holes and horrible dialogue.

the editing was abysmal. action movies depend on tight editing--transformers was crap. can't enjoy action if you can't tell what's going on, and if there are far too many robots doing 360 spins everytime they jump getting in the way of the other action that further blocks out Megan Fox.
