Where can io pick up a transflash 256mb or 512mb card for cheap?

A lot of the stores only carry the 128mb ones

I don't think the 512MB ones are available in the US yet. The only sources I can find are in the UK for $100 US :(

It's a very tiny version of SD memory used in cell phones and GPS units. It's about 1/4 the size of a regular SD card and holds things like MP3s, maps, addresses, pictures, video, etc. The new cell phones are able to be used as MP3 players (and the e815 is a really good player)

I've got a Motorola MPx 220 that takes a similarly-sized miniSD card and use it as a MP3 player. I got a 512MB mini-sd card with an SD adapter and I can use it in my PDA, phone and camera. Transflash works the same way, and I think I may have seen a transflash-SD adapter somewhere, i'll post a link if I find it. I also recall having seen larger cards on amazon.

If you have the correct software installed on the phone, yes, you can.

I have an e815 too and have been waiting for the prices on these memory cards to go down. You can get 512 mb cards on ebay but its toom pricy right now. Maybe next year. I have the E815 as well. I guess all E815 owners think alike
