Transferring schools

I'm considering transferring schools (college) mainly because:

A) I have the grades to get into a top 20 or better school.
B) I'd like a scenery change.

I'm considering several schools on the west coast. (In California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia)

The one problem I've thought about is that I've never taken the SAT, it's not a manditory test in Michigan to get into college, where as the ACT is. So, I've taken the ACT, not the SAT. Does anyone know after 2 years of school, will universities still wish to see my SAT scores, even though I haven't taken it?

I've looked at UC-Berkeley's website and it doesn't say anything about it, although I can't check the application yet as I cannot apply until Oct. 1st.
