Transferring pictures TO a CF card in a Canon camera

I need to know how! I want to put a picture of my girlfriend and I as the start up image on the camera I bought for her for Christmas, but I have no clue how. I would have thought that dragging and dropping in Explorer would work, but my efforts were in vain. 🙁

So, anybody else have any ideas? 😀

Have you tried transfering the image into the CF card using a CF card reader instead of the camera?

Wtf these ppl don't know what they talking about.

Open Zoom Browser EX, click Camera and Memory, click upload images, select the jpeg files, click open camera window. There they are uploading to the CF card.

I just did it myself with my Canon G5.

That trick somehow does not work with all pictures. If you edit the picture sometimes ZoomBrowser will refuse to transfer the picture.

Card Reader is a safe way to transfer pictures.

If you open an edited picture in teh camera weird things can happen. What ever you do, do not resize the picture to a size unknown to the camera. Trust me I did this and the camera crapped out. (Olympus).
