I have it all installed but now the problem of the front panel connections. The Dell has a single plug that plugged into the Dell MB for all the connections. I called Dell and they were less than helpful about giving me a schematic so I can know which pins the connectors go to (thankfully the Aluminus case has individual connectors for each item) basically giving me your Dell is a disposable PC more or less.

My second problem is I wanted to use an older MB in that Dell4700 Dimension case but how do you get around that single plug for the power and HD and power LEDs? I can live without the front USB and even the LEDs. Just wondering if it's possible to remove the wires from the plug and make individual plugs for each item. How difficult would this be on a scale of 1-10? Thanks.

there are tools to remove wires from molex connectors. That's no problem. Test with a digital multimeter and find which wires you need, then arrange accordingly.

trace the wires from the dell's front panel. find out where which goes and then use that to make your own diagram for the aluminus case.
