I realize that this is probably pretty simple to some of the Geeks here on the Forum. What I need is step by step instruction on how to clone/copy my main PC files to another PC to have for a back up when the situation comes up using the USB Stick, to get me started. I'm having a senior moment and can't seem to get what is involved? There's probably other ways to do this but for now would prefer the USB stick. Items such as emails & addresses, bookmarks, photos, downloads, sort of a clone to the main PC. OS is XP3!

Would appreciate any an all suggestions that are submitted. Thank you all for taking the time, and having the patience and understanding to assist with this matter. :\ SM USAF 62-66

You can copy & drag files to the USB drive to copy stuff.
For mail and the like, usually, you need to export them out if you are using a e-mail client. If you are using a web based client, then, it depends on which one.
For bookmarks and whatever else, it again depends on which browser.
If using FireFox, you can create sync accounts to take care of all this for you.

Here is one possible option.... http://www.easeus.com/backup-recovery/clone-hard-drive-to-usb-flash-drive.html

Just google.... clone PC to usb drive
and you will find a few different ways of accomplishing this though not sure if all are XP3 compatible so you'll have to read a bit to make sure.

Thanks for the note. Will see if I can get it to work for me? Also will check these suggestions out to see how cost effective they will be? Thanks for taking the time to reply. Have to ponder on this, however it looks promising and something I can handle:). SM USAF 62-66
