Hey, I'm helping a friend setup a HP media center PC and he wants to transfer his personal data from his old dell on to the media center PC. I'm thinking I can just take the hard drive out of the dell and put it into the media center PC, then set up the dell drive as the master drive, then run XP off of the dell hard drive? Then reformat the HP hard drive to XP?
