I just bought a new hard drive. I was wondering if there is any way to transfer the data from my old hard drive onto my new hard drive. My old one is a generic brand HD that came with my Dell. The new one is a Western Digital Caviar Special Edition. Any ideas?
If you don't want to spend any money on disk imaging software and your hard drive was not OEM, I also agree that you could use the copy software that comes with the retail WD hard drive. Quick and easy😉.
