So I called T-mobile ask about cancelling 1 out of the 3 phone lines on my plan. They told me that if I can find a person who wants that line, I can give it that person and he will save activation fees and I will save the cancellation charge.

Anyone done this before? What are the details? Do I have to give the phone over too? I should have ask this over the phone but these questions didn't came up until after I hang up.

Another question, where or how would I post this on Craigslist?

are you still on the contract? If you are not, then you can cancel anytime.

If you are on the contract, then what they said is likely true. Its not a common practice, and I dont know anyone who has done it to some random person. Why not just ask them again?

If you need to know "where and how" to post on Craigslist, you will need more help than I can provide. :) *hint*

Is the line you're trying to get rid of a part of a shared family plan? If so, do not transfer it unless the person will agree to own plan/contract. They can use up all your minutes/data and you will be stuck with the bill.
