Transfering save games from XP Pro 32 to Vista Ultimate 64

Hey all, I just picked up a copy of Vista Ult 64 and was wondering if I can use my save games from XP in it to pick up where I left off in a couple of games. Namely Neverwinter Nights 2, and Far Cry 2. I'm far enough along in both of them that I really don't want to start over. Can I just install the games in Vista, then drag in my old save games, or will the 32-64 change cause issues? I'd like to do my install tomorrow; but if I'd have to start over I'd just rush through the games and then do it. Thanks for your help,
Shawn

I think you can do that, yes.

Sorry if that's not reassuring enough.

Should be fine, my 10 year old saves from C&C 95 and RA1 still work in vista x64, so i imagine as long as you get the correct save files it should be fine.

Main thing you're going to need to figure out is where they are saved on the XP version and in vista. Once you know the correct dirs, simply transferring the save game files you need should do the trick.
