My In-Laws have old movies from during the tiem of the Alask Earthquake from the 60s that they want put on DVD so they last a bit longer. We projected them on a wall and video taped the wall so they could narrate along but I know that's not going to look very good quality-wise.
I searched on google and found a bunch of places that to that but they all talk about how their technology is great and others suck and things like that. Does anyone have any experience with any company that does this that can speak for the quality of the output?
The first 3 links on google when searching for 8mm to DVD are:
http://www.just8mm.com/
http://www.digitaltransfersystems.net/
http://www.homemoviedepot.com/
These all look decent but I don't know anything about it really.
Thanks!
