Transfering files between FAT32 and NTFS... Problem?

I thought I heard one time that you can get some troubles if you tranfer files to/from a NTFS partition to/from a FAT32 file system... Is this true?
 
there shouldn't be any problem transfering files as long as you're in windows... you can't access NTFS partitions from DOS mode (like if you boot to a startup floppy)... that would be the only time you would have problems
