Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but I am asking just to make sure 🙂
I am building my first PC, which will use a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 Perp Rec. My current PC has an older Seagate Barracuda 8MB Cache.
What will be the easiest way to transfer files from my old HD to the new? Here is what I was planning on doing.
1)Build new PC with the new HD. Install Windows and make sur everything works fine
2)Install old HD as Slave
3)Copy files from one HD to the other (Hand selected files, not a mass copy/paste)
Should that do it? Will I be able to put my old HD back into my old PC without any issues?
Thanks!
