Transfering Data off a MacBook Hard Drive?

MacBook does not turn on anymore, but the hard drive is probably in tact. Once the hard drive is removed from the laptop, how can I retrieve the data off of it?

Can I get a connector that will let me plug it in to another Mac as a secondary drive?

Thanks!

are there jumper settings I need to be aware of or anything else besides just plugging it in to another Mac?

There are no jumpers, it's just a plain jane sata 2.5" hard drive. I put my drive in this enclosure.

It allows me to plug it into other computers with either usb or firewire and is bus powered, so not wall wart is needed.
Once you plug you drive in to another mac, whether using a usb to sata adapter or a drive enclosure, then it will just mount to your desktop like a flash drive or a cd. You can then browse the files and copy things from/to it as you wish. This is all assuming your drive is, in fact, ok.
