Transfer/Upgrade Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007

What is the best method to do this?

I have a friend who has an old PC with a copy of XP that needs to be replaced with a legal version. She bought that, but now I have the old Outlook 2003, I need to get over to the new Outlook 2007.

I have multiple backups of the old hard drive.

You should be able to import her 03 .pst file into 07 without any problems.

Will importing the .pst file bring in all the settings too?

It will bring all of the existing emails and contacts, but not the filters or email acount info.
