I think you are in bigger trouble than you think. How is that going to help when you need a 3.5? So much for the math skills.

You can major in pre-med? I've never heard of that...

No offense, but constructively, why do you want to be a doctor/pharmacist? A 3.1 from a JC is ok.... but consider the rigor of the classes you have to take in order to fill all the premed requirements. Then consider the difficulty of them at a school like UT Austin, which is very tough.

Do you have the drive in you to study your ass off to be a doctor? If you continue with your current performance, it seems like your GPA will drop, not go up when you transfer, which would make it very very difficult for you to get into ANY med school.

Just a thought.

Talk with an advisor at the college/university you want to transfer to. Find out all the requirements needed and follow them. Your JC counselor should also have some idea of what to do.

neither premed nor pharmacy are undergrad majors. secondly, you do not have sufficient hours or grades to get into ut. study smarter

Best advice I can give is to analyze what you're doing wrong with earning those relatively low grades (considering you want to go med school). If your gpa isn't approaching at least 3.5 by the end of this fall then you need to face the music and choose a career path other than medical school.

Were you in the top 10% of your high school class in grades? I think the University of Texas is automatic entrance to Texas high school students in the top 10% of their class, at least it was like that for my sister.

whatever classes you take, make sure they not only transfer over, but that they will be counted towards the particular major you choose.
