transfer space from one drive to another drive

Hi,

I am looking for a software that can shift or transfer some space from drive A to drive B...
ex. I have a 80gb harddrive on my notebook. A drive has 74gb and B drive has only 2gb. I want to make it A drive = 20Gb and the rest to B drive.

What is a good and safe software to do so?
I have tried Partition Magic 8 upgraded to 8.01 which just failed me.

any other or is it the best that i can use?

How did it just fail you? Partition Magic is probably the easiest way to do it.

when i format my d drive, it delete the file allocation table(i guess)

so it say something like LDX is missing

Try Acronis, it's way better than partion fake magic (piece of junk). You can actually manipulate/resize existing partition without any hiccups.
