Transfer RAID from MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum to Asus A8N-SLI Premium

Hello all,

I know I am asking a completely retarded question, but is there anyway to move a RAID 0 array from the nvraid on the Neo2 to the Asus A8N Sli Premium? I just got the Asus and really don't feel like reformatting. I know I sound lazy as all hell, but I am addicted to World Of Warcraft and BF2 and am dying to see how my new 7800 GTX performs!

Has anyone done this?

Do they both use the same raid controllers?

the Asus uses the nforce raid controller just like the nforce3 but I think it's SATA II and not SATA I like the neo3

If you install the latest RAID drivers for nforce4 and switch motherboard, it should work. I had to do a repair because nforce3 RAID drivers did not work on my nforce4 motherboard. Once the repair done, everything was OK.

Do a Acronics or Ghost image of the current array. Put in the new board, image back to the new array, boot to XP disk and do a repair install.....
