transfer from digital camera to mp3 player

i'm interested, in buying a digital camera and a mp3 player. i search the internet to find a mp3 player, which can be used, as a storage to a digital camera (for transfering photo direct, using a cable, from digital camera, to mp3 player).
i found iAudio x5 mp3 player, with USB OnTheGo (http://www.cowonamerica.com/products/iaudio/x5/ ), but the list, of suported camera, is not so impresive (old models, i guess, i'm not an expert in this field), a model from samsung, one from iriver (but nothing about suported cameras), a MSI with SD/MMC slot .
thanks for any help, sugestion, information, about this subject.
 
I do that with my Creative Zen Vision media player. It accepts CompactFlash media- which is what my camera uses. I just move the media from camera to Zen.

Alternatively, I do it with my laptop when on the road. Both items connect to it, and I can transfer movies, digipics, music, and complete slideshows. The Zen also connects to any TV set for large screen viewing.
