Transcend is the only company to offer both DDR memory modules and motherboards. The Transcend motherboards in the demo are the TS-APR3 with VIA PR266 chipset and the TS-ALR4 with ALi 1647/1535D+ chipset. Transcend will perform the demo live, using the same testing hardware and software for the two Transcend DDR motherboards?the TS-APR3 running with the Intel GIGA CPU; and the TS-ALR4 running with the AMD GIGA CPU, respectively. This demonstration pits four of the heavyweights in the chipmaking industry head-to-head: Intel, VIA, AMD, and Acer Labs
