Worked with Vista Ready Boost. No sure how much it helps with 4 gigs ram, but if you have a low end with 1 gig this may be the ticket to a little boost.

First it said it would not work, then tested again and said it would??? It will read 4 gig SDHC micro.

8gb one is only 13.99 also. not sure if thats a good price, but that seems cheap to me.

Thats odd, I have not heard of it impacting performance. My wife's laptop has 2gb and a SD reader, I wonder if this would help hers be any faster?

It would impact performance b/c the read/write speeds are so slow.
