2003 Christmas Tour

If you've never seen them, I highly suggest it. They put on an amazing stage show, and sound incredible live. I'm psyched, THREE shows in Connecticut for me this year, a matinee and evening performance on 12/6 to get me in the holiday spirits, and a perfect way to wrap up the holiday three days after Christmas on the 28th of December at the Mohegan Sun. Can't really ask for anything more. I know quite a few people who have made this a part of their Christmas tradition, and for the past 3 years has been a part of mine as well, and will continue to be as long as they continue to tour. TSO came to be as a side project for the 80s group Savatage, and the East tour of TSO features my second favorite guitarist, Chris Caffery.

Sweet, they are coming to Sac-town. I've never seen them before but plan to this time around. Do they usually sell out their shows? The Arco Arena is pretty big.

Yes, around here anyway (CT/NY/MA), their shows are always sold out. I'd advise signing up for their mailing list (they don't send spam or share your email with anyone) so that you can get the pre-sale date for members only. :D

Edit: Of course, this time around, they are playing bigger arena's, whereas previous tours have been smaller theater-type venue's, so you'd probably still get tickets even if you don't rush out the first day, but why chance it. ;)

Pre-Sale tickets went on sale at 10:00am today. I got FRONT ROW seats for the 12/6 Wallingford show AND the 12/28 Mohegan Sun Arena shows, both in CT. Tickets don't go on sale to the general public until 10/17. Sign up for their mailing list, and you're able to buy pre-sale tickets!!

I am so confused. I tried to buy tickets for LA and apparently internet presale is over yet it's still going on for cities that have dates way before LA. I don't get how their system works.!

I have a spare 3rd row center ticket for anyone in the Connecticut area that wants to buy it, face value, for the 8pm 12/6 show at the SNET Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, CT. Bought it pre-sale, along with my front row center seats, but someone backed out. The tickets are on sale to the general public on Friday, 10/17, but all the good seats are gone already. ;)

PM if interested in the ticket, unfortunately, it's a single seat.

Does anyone know how you should dress at this event? I know all sorts of people go (young rockers, old business professionals, etc). Since this is an orchestra, I'd like it to be a nice evening for a friend and I. But I don't want to show up in slacks and a dress shirt get vomitted on. Anyone care to comment?

Damn, all the good seats are gone, already in Milwaukee. I think I'll take the upper level, anyway.

Casual, but dress up if you want, you won't be the only ones. There won't be any vomiting going on at this show, unless the person next to you has a baby. The age range as to the type of crowd at this show can be from 10 years old to 80.

I guess Ticketmaster is the way to go. I now have floor seats, and sky high seats. I'll have to sell or give away the other ones to friends. :)
