Tranfering data from one external USB HD to another external USB HD directly OK????

So I have two external USB-2 HD's connected to my desktop system. Can I drag say 20GB data from one of the external HDs to the other external HD directly????? OR do I need to bring it to my desktop 1st and then transfer to second external USB HD????? Just wanted to make sure before attempting it.

There shouldn't be any problem going from one directly to another, no need to send it to your PC first, and then to the other drive.
