Training Day Explanation

Rented Training Day today, the DVD skipped from when Jake was at that mexican house to when he was in the bathroom tub.

What happened? The DVD is borked. Did Jake find out that the guy was a crooked cop? If so, how? What did the mexican gang leader say to him while they were playing poker? And why did he end up with a shotgun in his face in the bathtub?

Yes and Jake goes after him when he's released by the Mexicans. Jake goes to his house, but doesn't kill Alonzo. The Russians end up killing Alonzo after the confrontation with Jake.

The Mexicans were saying if he had ever had his "sh** pushed him", Jake got scared and start punching the Mexicans. That's why he got a shotgun to his face.

Alonzo leaves while Jake was playing poker when the Mexicans. I think one told him to look outside, there's no one there for him. Jake looks outside and sees Alonzo's car is gone. He knows then that it was a setup and he's going to die. He's then released because of the girl he saved earlier in the film being the cousin of the gangbanger.

Ok, I saw the end. I saw how he was released because of the girl he saved, but didn't know why he ended up in the bathtub.
