I has one. It works better as a single-shot assault rifle. Long distance on it blows.

The intimidation factor is awesome when playing Nerf, tho =D

It's been out for a while now. Search out "longshot mods" and see some cool stuff some people have done with these... from increasing the range to 70+ feet, to stylizing it like a pump shotgun or SCAR based gun.

Alas, they also hit a peak like with Nerf and quickly declined. Its like they realized they couldn't keep making them better and better and instead reverted to gimmicks and mediocrity.

oo middle 90s super soakers were the best. they were like tanks and you felt awesome if it was bigger and could carry more water than everyone else's. now, they are all pretty much the same, have the same gimmicks, just different body styles and are cheaply made.
i really want to get a bunch of the old guns and have a water-gun fight in the middle of campus or something. that would be so kickass, so much better than everyone else who is playing ultimate frisby as soon as spring comes. i'd rather just toss a frisby or football around, or play with super soakers. :)
