Tomorrow, I'm helping a buddy hook up a wiring harness on a Saturn Vue.
It doesn't have a factory Molex plug with all the connections, rather, just five wires taped together behind an access panel in the cargo area.
The manual clearly states that these are the wires for the harness. Here's what's odd, it says:
That's all it says. The odd thing is that the loops of wire sticking out of the harness ARE LOOPS.
Am I supposed to CUT the wires and use a butt connector on one of the ends, OR am I supposed to use a T-connector (Scotch-Lok) and splice into the loop?
Thanks.

"These loops of wire have been provided so you may hook up a trailer wiring harness."
1. Blue - left turn signal
2. Red - right turn signal
etc
