I like my quote better:

"The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world there was a God."

Doesn't the entire idea of religion reek of something the devil would tell people to get them to do what he wants?

You mean something along the lines of "The second greatest trick the Devil pulled off was convincing people that there is a God".

Lucifer pilot is online. I just finished watching it. I thought it was pretty good.

I liked it better then minority report so we will have to see how quick they kill it once it starts. :p

Not to mention the female cop is hot and I wouldn't mind watching the movie she was in.

Am I the only one a bit unsettled by the idea of portraying Satan as a charming, witty, likable character?

What if Satan really is a charming, witty and likable character and everything written about him by his adversaries are lies? What if his adversaries are the really evil beings and just want to pin their deeds on Satan? Hmm? :awe:

Honestly, I'd imagine Satan would be a charming, witty and likable character because he has to be.

You do know Satan was jealous of God's creation: man?

The outcast angel talks to Jesus a few times that is mentioned in the Bible.

Personally, if there is at least one person that walked and breathed on this earth that is in hell it is Osama. Between the Kenna, '93 world trade building, USS Cole and 9/11 attacks he has the smell of death on his soul.

What if the entire concept of God and Satan was a lie constructed to trick man into following the wrong path? What if, in order to trick man into an eternity of hell fire, he created a religion that "looked better" and offered "better rewards"?

There's no question that the concept is a big lie; but within the lies, there are more lies. See? I just blew your mind.

Why would he go to hell for that.

Plenty of nations have blown up civilian targets in war. You're going to have some painful revelations if you use that logic.

Reminds me of that old Twilight Zone episode where the devil almost convinces the guy to come to his side of the road.

In the event there is a heaven and hell, in the Christian sense, Bin Laden would be there, as he was a nonbeliever.

Why would the devil torture bad guys for an eternity? Wouldn't he be pals with them? I mean, they're the bad guys!
