I always found those movies quite entertaining, I'm in.

There is a part that always makes me laugh, I forget which movie, but the computer is "scanning" (I can't remember what, think they were looking for records) and it was actually showing Norton Antivirus. 😀

Interesting to find out that they are filming the movie in the metropolis I grew up in, Metro Manila and suburbs. 😉

I am defiitely watching this but am I the only one who doesn't really buy Reiner as an action hero? I know he's been in lots of action flicks (for example Mission Impossible, recently), but there's something about him that makes me think he's better suited, well, being in a suit. Maybe a grifter or maybe even a ruthless businessman, but not action star.

....that Jason Bourne would not be in The Bourne Legacy[6] although it retains the name Bourne as to identify it as a continuity to the franchise. The film will not take place in a new canon; it will not be a reboot or prequel in any way, but more likely a "sidequel" or full spin-off with a new character in the mold of Bourne dealing with the ramifications of the Treadstone conspiracy.
WTF, no Jason Bourne in this movie. 😵

Thats quite correct, I hadnt read the books in ages, but when the movies come out I was like WTF...I dont rememebr that?!

The movies basically took the core characters and the basic premise that Jason Bourne lost his memory and then created an entirely different story.

Which was still a bad ass story unlike "I Am Legend" which took the book, completely changed the ending to take away any meaning and intellectual thought of the movie and made it a semi decent action flick.

Yup. The movies are great, some of my favorites in fact.

The books would have made boring movies and I don't think you could have shortened them too much without destroying the plot, hence the full rewrite.

Anyone who thinks this one won't be as good or better that the 3 Damon flicks doesn't know a damn thing about movies.
Not only was the trailer excellent, everyone actor in it is first class, the director has an excellent body of work, and there is lots of real action and less of the damn jerky camera technique that fools the late puberty crowd into thinking it was energetic.

I'll have this on Blu-Ray for many repeat viewing as soon as it comes out on video.

I always laugh when people make such huge assumptions over movie previews. Plus there's been tons of movies with casts better thanks this which have not been great so that isn't guaranteed either.

I have higher hopes than originally. It looks like it has a very nice tie in with the bourne trilogy - which I was concerned that they would just gloss over.

I'll probably see it when it comes out on bluray.
