Traffic lawyers in Montreal?

Does anyone know of a good traffic lawyer firm in Montreal? I did a search on YellowPages.ca and came up with X-Copper but they're in Ontario (even though I specifically searched Montreal, Quebec), and the rest of the results were mostly parking lot companies. A search on google didn't reveal much either.

I figure a lawyer would be a lot cheaper than the ticket.

That X-Copper site (that's Ontario) I think said they cost $300, and it's free if you lose! Too bad they're not over here in Quebec. Just the speeding ticket is going to cost me that much not to mention getting my license suspended, insurance increases, etc...

I'm probably not going to court for a long while for it, but I want to figure out my options.

What other alternatives are there besides a lawyer? I heard some places will let you take traffic school or pay double fines to get out of the ticket. Over here in Quebec the cop doesn't have to go to court so there's no chance of that happening :( I just don't want to be screwed and not be able to drive for 6-9 months whatever the case may be.

If there's an option on the ticket to book a court date, choose another date on a Monday or Friday.
(You might only be able to do this once you receive the paperwork after you send your current ticket in)
Cops will usually have all of their court dates on the same day, by rebooking you have a chance he won't show up.
Making it on a Friday will give you an even better chance.

Oh I saw you just said that the cop doesn't have to be there.
Too bad you didn't get it in Ontario

That's a myth that won't work.

Cop could easily reschedule it to another day, and you're screwed.
