Trading Spaces host Paige Davis naked on TV Guide cover (almost).

Looks like TV Guide made a last minute change though.

August 11, 2003 -- PAIGE Davis, the perky host of TLC's hit home-decorating show "Trading Spaces," has embarrassed her bosses by showing too much skin in next week's TV Guide. Sources say after Davis agreed to be photographed swaddled in nothing but two strips of wallpaper, a TLC staffer called the magazine's photo department and asked them to run another shot, citing the no-nudity clause in Davis' TLC contract. Davis' personal publicist followed up with another phone call and said Davis' job could be on the line. But TV Guide was unswayed. The issue with the racy shot hits stands Aug. 16.

Personally, I can't stand that pretentious little princess but if that's too much skin...

If she'd been in a swimsuit it would have been fine, I bet, *and* would have shown *more* skin.

Just picked up the issue in the break-room, the picture has been moved to the 'contents' page (page 3).

I agree, it's not alot of skin, but apparently her boss's didn't like it.

EDIT>> That was Leslie on WYWO ... nvm. I think they're too old for mid-20-year olds to like... more for the 30+'s. Those are the types who watch HGTV anyway.

Alex McLeod was a WAY better host of Trading Spaces. She was not only better-looking, but she was also really cool. More than willing to get her hands dirty and had that dry, witty sense of humor. Paige is just a little princess. Heck, she promoted her marriage on TLC as one of those Wedding Story shows not long after she replaced Alex as the host of Trading Spaces.

I used to agree with you, but Paige has won me over. Especially after seeing Alex on Joe Millionaire, Paige wins hands down.
