There are alot of members with pretty long for sale posts who have joined anandtech whithin the last week or two. Is it a good idea to only buy from members/senior members and up. Don't alot of people who rip us off that get a bad rating so they just start over ripping more people off with a new fresh name? I usually think that people who have extra computer components lying around are usually the type who deal with computers as a hobby and would have been using anandtech for a while.
 
You should of course use caution and common sense when dealing with anyone, and here is the link to a verified bad traders list. Hope this helps and good trading. 🙂

Great advice from everyone.

Just to add a little, I wouldn't trust anyone just because of their membership status. It is so easy to artificially augment your status through neffing here that the status stops being much of an indication of anything.
