Amd XP2500 Barton
1GB PC 2700 RAM
Abit NF7 Mobo
Lite-On DVDRW
42x CDRW
GeForce 6800GTS
Wireless Keyboard/Mouse
21" NEC CRT Monitor

And use my entry level laptop only? I've been meaning to sell my computer. I told a friend's uncle that if he wants it all (monitor included), I'll give it to him for $250, but was wondering if it's even worth that much. He hasn't gotten back to me yet, so I was pondering my brother's offer also. What do you think?

If the PSP is on firmware 2.8 or below do it, then you can downgrade and flash a custom firmware to it to be able to enjoy all the goodies (homebrew, psx games, others.) If it's above that on official Sony firmware, no way.

are you kidding me?

6800GTS is worth 100 easy. My local Fry's is selling retail systems with half those specs and double the price.

If your brother wants the computer, he should give you his PSP (including every game) and $100 cash.

That's fair.

PSP plus any games he has for it would be an even trade for that system. If you just wanted the cash, you could probably sell the PSP easier than the computer. Shipping the PSP would be cheaper and there's probably more demand for the PSP.

250 is probably about right for that system if you don't value the CRT at all

On Ebay PSP systems go for well under $200 for new ones.

BTW price checks even if they are cleverly disguised aren't allowed :p

Up to 3.03 can be downgraded now, but >2.8 only with the original version of GTA:LCS.

Crazy, guess I didn't keep up with all the downgrading news as I went from 1.5 to custom, no downgrading involved.

He said he'd throw in Liberty Stories and $100, but the $100 is probably gonna go towards the $300 he still owes me. He just wants a computer now that the P3 downstairs is outta comission.
