Recently built a computer by letting a friend pick the parts. After researching for a week, Ive noticed that the ASUS a8n SLI-deluxe has a lot of problems with the chipset fan and doesnt overclock too well.
Further reading shows that the SLI-premium has no chipset fan and can overclock past 250FSB with the T1 command enabled. Luckily newegg will let me return the sli deluxe until next month even though it's been used.
So would it be worth the restocking fee and hassle to upgrade? Im planning to overclock and dont want to have to worry about the chipset fan breaking.
