I think it is an extremely ridiculous thought. He is such a fan favorite and many people come to the stadium just to see him. He is the Yankees' captain.

I also think A-Rod is a great player and people wrongfully get on him. He comes to the ballpark everyday to play. I hope he has a chance to show people how good he can be in the future.

Jeter's value to the Yankee organization is much greater than it is to any other team. I doubt any team will offer enough for an aging middle infielder at the end of his prime for it to be worthwhile for the Yankees. This is not a knock on Jeter by any means, I'm just saying that most trades are done on paper, and on paper, that's what trading Jeter would look like.
