"Children wanting to track Santa Claus's global journey on Christmas Eve have a number of options this year."

It's funny that a serious, professional organization like the BBC is making an effort to uphold the Santa legend with this tongue-in-cheek article. From what I remember, they have been doing it for some years now.

I hope your not suggesting we crap on one of the last remaining simple pleasures of childhood and shove a spoon full of cynicism down our kids throats instead.

the truth has to come out at one point, it is better to be in the early age when they won't be able to remember anything...

Hey lighten up dude. I just found it funny and thought I would share it with you guys. As far as I am concerned, one should be free to bring up his kids any way he wants.

What do that intend to do to him when they finally catch him? Charge him with 6 billion counts of breaking and entering?

I never really believed he was real. My parents never really said anything to make Santa be one individual; it was usually, "Oh this is Santa from Monterrey (my grandparents), or this must be local Santa."

It was always tongue in cheek stuff, and I was sort of wrapped up into the spirit of gift giving, not necessarily there's one benevolent dude out there with a stackload of cash and a sleigh.
