Yeah, it's amazing what UPS has left on my porch

. They left a complet desktop computer ($1500) on my porch once at 10:30am, I found it when I got home at 9pm:disgust: They did the exact same thing with a laptop and a $900 jewelry item
I once ordered a game from (UNDISCLOSED) and they didnt ask me how to ship it. With the names they used for their shipping method it sounded like regular USPS. SO entered in my PO box.
Now, not only did the aforementioned company not contact me to check on this, but it turns out they gave it to UPS. UPS TOOK THE PACKAGE! Then sent it on its way.
A few days later as I'm checking with the company to find out what the heck happened to my box, they tell me UPS has already delivered it.
???

After a few more hours of phone tag, UPS says they dropped it off at XXX address in town.
Now my PO Box is 934, which was not even close to the address they claim to have delivered it. I have no idea where they got the street name from either.
So I fire up MapQuest and track the house down. Drive over and as I'm walking up the driveway I see an opened box sitting by the front door with my game in it. An old fellow opens the front door, looks right at me and says "you wouldnt happen to be Shorty Lickens would you?" (Names changed to protect the innocent.)
I said heck yeah, and is that mine.
The elderly gent was very disturbed as to how he could have recieved such a package.
I turn it around and sure enough, there is a label with the words "PO Box 934" on it.
It would seem UPS just dropped it off at a convenient locale in town, rather than call and correct the issue.
Conclusion?
I avoided that company AND the people in brown from then on.
