Are there any methods for tracking game play time in Windows 7?
In specific I am trying to figure out how much time Minecraft is being played.
I guess the software just needs to monitor for an Application and record some data.

Google found this..
http://www.gameplay-time-tracker.info/en/default.aspx

but I am surprised its the only option I could find.
I tried it briefly but didn't seem to work.. I'll spend a little more time with it if there are no other suggestions.

Thanks.

I think Xfire tracks time played, though I'm not 100% sure as I do not use it.

Xfire does track time played, but it does not work with all games. On some games with PunkBuster installed, you will not be able to use Xfire. That's the main reason that I stopped using it.

another vote for raptr. i used to use xfire for it, but as mentioned, it doesnt work with all games. raptr works with them all so far as i can tell. it also allows you to put in your ps3/xbox name and copy over stuff from that if you want.

I use Raptr and works great on everything except the PS3 for me. So I think you'll be fine on PC.

you can add non steam games to the steam library, it will track time played like any steam game.

a friend of mine added ms word to his library, it say in game MSWORD when he is online.
