Woohoo! Moved from #33 to #32!

Now only 3 months and I get my card!

Good thing I already decided to scrap my idea of 7900GT SLI for an X1900XTX.

Anyone wanna buy a brand new 7900GT in a couple of months?

Is it the GT CO? If it is, pm when you're ready.

NEWSFLASH !!!! ... HUGE Shipment of 7900 GTX EGS came in this week ... This morning i got the request for the invoice ... My position in the Queue was 183 ... so 183 to "send in your invoice" in one shot .. not bad ... 🙂

Cheers .

Oh and also ... anyone who is Stuck in the 7900 GTX SC and its past the 90 days can now switch to the EGS queue if they wish.

Cheers

What are the differences between EGS and SC version? Any one?
I've been stuck for a SC for quite sometime now and as last check I've moved from #231 to #170 in the past few days. It looks like eVGA has finally been able to move up some high volume there.

EGS is the Standard 7900GTX the SC is the supercoooled and overclocked one... I wanted it but the wait was going to be too much to bear.

Cheers

I paid $260 for my 7800GT from Monarch, and am awaiting for a $20 rebate that never came. Since MSRP is $319.99, I will need to pay $60 + $10 shipping for the step-up to a 7900GT CO. I think it's not worth it.. does anyone think differently? 😕

Don't forget that you have to pay for shipping your card to them also!

Another option you have is to get the card that sells for $20.00 cheaper. Just another choice to make it even more confusing!
I know what you mean. I am in the same boat.

Eversince step-downed from a N575 (GTX SC) to just a plain N570 (GTX) my queue standing has improved quite drastically. It was #231 for a GTX/SC two weeks ago and now just checked it is at #23 for GTX. What a difference! Any day now, baby...here comes my 7900GTX
How's everyone else doing in their step-up program, by far?

Just submitted my credit card info for the $$ differential and it's now just a matter of time before I can see my new 7900gtx card. Whoohoo, it is finally happening. Way to go eVGA!

update!!

I have been sitting on #39 for WEEKS...so I get this email:

Dear Step-Up User:

NOTE: Please ignore the previous email

Due to the limited quantity and very high demand for the 7900 GT CO
(256-P2-N565-AX) the queue has been moving very slow. To expedite
this queue, EVGA will now automatically move everyone currently
stepping up into the 7900 GT KO Superclocked Edition (256-P2-N567-AX)
queue.

Please note that there is no price change for this and you are
benefiting from EVGA's KO Edition cooling solution.

If you have any questions please let us know.

Thank you,

Joe Darwin

They moved me into the 7900GT KO Superclocked for the same price...this is the newest card (besides the signature series) better cooling, heatsink/fan now covers the RAM, and it has higher clock speeds.

My RMA'ed 7800GTX is now in transit to Brea, CA as of this writing. I hope to get my step-up's 7900gtx SC in return sometime next week...It's almost here and I can smell it..🙂

Does anyome know how long is eVGA's typical turn-around time the moment it receives the old card and until it ships the new card out in return?
