Tracking authentication and redirects...

I'm trying to find a utility that might be able to help me out. I'm trying to provide a proxy server to handle authentication for a bunch of backend webservers. The problem is that the rewrite rules on the proxy are being overpowered by local redirect rules on the backend webservers.

Is there a utility available that can track exactly where the browser is getting sent to? Source code on the html isn't helping me and as soon as my proxy does the post command, the redirect is so quick, I can't figure out if there's a way around it. Thanks-
