Somebody I know think's somebody used their hotmail address to send an email, now not physically hacking into it, just sending a spoofed one. The header I saw had no reveling information as to who actually send it. It was forwarded to them by the person who received it.
they think if they contact Hotmail Hotmail will JUMP to help them track it, or actually do any thing at all. Like I said this is just one email, and the message isn't trying to phish any info or anything serious. just somebody apparently pretending to be him. *which I find hard to swallow*
I say they won't help, but am I wrong here? I'm telling him to not waste his time...
