The OP is an admitted nVidia fanboy and a troll so I don't even know why he's posting this as he's never going to buy an ATI card anyways.
Uhh...no, I'm not constantly harping about the availability of the X1900. If you can prove me constantly doing so then show the many threads where I do so. Otherwise, it's just another one of your baseless claims which you can't back up.
For you to be calling someone else a fanboy is laughable. I'm relatively fair in my assessment of both companies though I do lean towards ATI. I don't make that a secret. However unlike you, I don't constantly start threads about the shortcomings of nVidia nor do I do so about ATI. I don't bash ATI in an nVidia discussion thread and I don't bash nVidia in an ATI discussion thread. I don't use out of context quotes to belittle others because I have no intelligent response. My stated mission on these forums are not to rile up fans of another company's video cards.
It's just funny you keep calling me a fanboy, especially in another thread in which my first post was in defense of nVidia. Even funnier was you took the opportunity to bash ATI when it was a discussion about nVidia only and until you butted your nose into the thread, it was free of the usually fanboy head butting.

Excuse me? Could you point out where I made an ignorant troll topic? Didnt think so.
You claim that you have "higher standards". Care to tell us what your system is? Must be great, with your higher standards and all. Oh wait, its not.
This is a trolling topic, just as your all tRollo used to make. You've replaced him well. It is simply idiotic to try and pass off that NV has no availability issues, and that ATi does. Really, use some common sense. Im done with this thread, Im not going to bump it and give it any more posts. You read B3D, why not go post it there? I think we both know why.![]()

Actually wreckage you've been ignoring the people citing a valid point about the article (discounting the X1800XT under $300) but you make a point to bring up OT issues about ATI's AF and bash ATI in general.

It's not the topic it's your post that had no substance what so ever. Where did I claim that NVIDIA was not having supply issues? Why is it sooo many ATi fanboys are in here posting nothing of merit at all? If you disagree with the article (and have proof) fine, say so. But to come in here and call names and dismiss and article that has merit, that is the mirror I was referring to.

Actually it was joke who brought up AF. Good to see you call him on it.
Notice he mentions the article's point about availability issues, he then adds his own personal commentary to the article as you did with your "Ouch."Originally posted by: 5150Joker
I'd much rather wait on a sparsely available card than have to deal with nVidia's subpar needle in your eye AF.
OK I'm getting bored interpreting this thread for you so I'm going to stop. If you want to yell or disagree with my analysis I'll gladly discuss this with you by PMs so we can get this thread back on topic.Originally posted by: Wreckage
Those needles are called "details" something ATI's AF leaves out to get better performance.

After they remove the details, their AA blurs the image so it's easier on your poor eyes.

Why is Wreckage posting about a card not being available "ignorant"?
Personally, I think the reason there are many X1900s available is few people are buying them.

Rollo used to defend ATI on occasion. I guess he was not biased after all. And you all burned him at the stake, shame on you.
Instead of discussing they article, you took a shot at me instead. Good luck with that credibility thing.
I have yet to see you jump on 5150joker, Morph, Ackmed etc. when they troll, yet if it's someone saying something pro NVIDIA all of a sudden you are a moral crusader.
No akugami, I would not say you are a fanboy, more of a hypocrite actually.
I guess when the 7800gtx and 7800gt was widely availale last summer few people were buying those too? Good availability != low demand, maybe they actually have enough supply to fill all the orders.Originally posted by: FalllenAngell

Big deal you found a driver bug in an SP game that 99% of people have already finished: http://www.rage3d.com/board/showpost.php?p=1334251360&postcount=37 I'd rather deal with a driver bug that is easily remedied than be stuck with permanent hardware limited subpar AF like the 7800/7900 series have. Not to mention having an old architecture that needs emergency bug ridden beta drivers just to prevent slideshow framerates in newer shader heavy games like Oblivion and FEAR - too bad they come at the cost of OpenGL performance. nVidia: Subpar AF + emergency release drivers needed for a subpar architecture. It's quite a win for ATi when a hardcore troll like you can only find one bug that is easily fixed vs. nVidia's known architectural flaws that lead to subpar IQ and poor performance in shader games that require special drivers.
