SilverStone Ready with a 700-Watt SFX-L Power Supply

"SilverStone is flexing its engineering muscle, to woo the compact gaming PC community that the SFX-L form-factor of power supplies have arrived, and ready for multi-GPU. SFX-L is slightly bigger than SFX but significantly smaller than ATX. The company is ready with a 700-Watt PSU in the SFX-L form-factor. Part of the company's new SFX-LPT G series, the lineup will be lead by the 700W SX700-LPT, followed by a 600W model, the SX600L-G. The company pioneered this form-factor with the 500W SX500L-G, earlier this January. The new PSUs will likely have enough juice and straws for gaming PC builds with up to two graphics cards. The two will boast of 80 Plus Platinum efficiency ratings. The company is expected to show them off at Computex 2015, this June."

This PSU would be perfect for making a gaming powerhouse rig in a small-form factor case.

How this PSU compares to stand size PSUs:
160mm ATX: 2.06L
140mm ATX: 1.81L
SFX-L: 1.03L

Soon it's going to be possible to create a small form factor PC with dual Titan X SLI / 980 SLI or even Fiji PRO CF and have a 700W small-form factor Platinum PSU. ^_^

Hopefully the TDP of the 395x2 or whatever the dual Fiji named is low enough to be able to cram it, a 5820 and this PSU in the Ncase M1.

Preorders for the 4th production run of the M1 start sometime next week. Hopefully the PSU comes out relatively soon after its announced.

Seems like a great idea to lengthen the SFX form factor like that, getting a good fan in there should make a world of difference. This makes me seriously consider the SilverStone FT03 mini rather than the regular one for my next desktop upgrade. I can imagine there are quite a few cases it won't fit into due to the length, though.
