TP-Link wireless N adapter on Win 10 PC keeps forgetting airplay speaker

I have an older TP-Link 150Mbps wireless N adpater on a Win 10 machine. The card "forgets" that an airplay speaker exists on my LAN. As long as the speaker is playing there is no problem but if the speaker is idle for a few minutes, the adpter can no longer see it. Disabling and re-enabling the adapter allows it to find the speaker again. My router, iPhone, and iPad never lose the speaker so I know it's either the adapter or Win 10. Any ideas on what to try to keep the speaker visible?

See if Disable “Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power” helps, mannualy or via scrips.
