TP hdtv video file?

ANyone seen an extension like .tp? I dl'ed a suppowed hdtv video file and this is the ext.
any idea?

try a player called "VLC media player" to play it.

crap...its legit..how the heck am i gonna change it to avi...to rip to dvd?...jeez.

Well, you can find a program called HDTVtoMPEG2 which as the name says, will convert it into a standard mpeg2 file. Then you can split it up with any mpeg2 editting program to fit the chunks onto a DVD or whatever.
