That was a pretty cool concept, but if they build it, I don't think it should wear a "Toyota Supra" badge, personally.

Of course it will be over priced and then toyota will stop making it and say it was because no one anted it, just like the supra.

The demand was/is high enough. BUT toyota keeps pricing them out to far. And from that peice, it seems they are trying to make a high end car but put a mid level name on it.

Yep, this thing doesn't look like it would be competition for the 350z/rx8 in any way whatsoever. If it's not even in the same league of pricing I don't care.

I thought toyota had cancelled the new supra idea?

if you're gonna have a 500 hp mid engine car that looks like a GT racer it should have a GT name on it.

So true, that seems to be the trend with Toyota.

I like the look but that square mouth has got it go. My buddy comes over once a week in his 350Z and I think that it's mouth is the most detracting thing about the car. The Brits would call that a "letter box opening", mail box for those of us in the States. 🙂

Jeez. Just when I thought I was old and comfortable enough to own a fast Supra and they price it out of my range again! $100K! Ridiculous!

People in Germany would be very confused as to why Toyota would name a sports car the "Grandma."

In Greek, volta means something like 'little trip'.
anyways, I think this has more to do with the upcoming Lexus LF-C (the LF-C drawing looks like that pic somewhat)... or...
holy crap, ok. I think there will be 2 versions, a toyota and a lexus version... kind of like the old SC is a 2" stretched out Supra.
