LOL, so how do you suggest a change? The little guy has been bent over and fvcked by those richer and more powerful than him for as long as humanity has been around. The United States, in the beginning, was a great experiment in giving the average citizen having some power. But, as we all know, it has degenerated into bought politicians and big corporations laying off thousands "for our own good" AKA the rich and powerful run everything. Just as it always has been and probably always will be.
When the people realize that the rich and powerful are only rich and powerful because the people make them so -- that capital is produced by labor and that power is given by consent -- then all the change that will ever be necessary will have occurred and will then occur.

This isn't belief, this is fact. You and your "we're all oppressed slaves" slave/victim-mentality cohorts stand in the way of human awareness and progress.

Shhh... slaves are what allow the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer.

Corrected for you. At least I recognize that I am a wage slave. Unless you are an owner of vast quantities of capital and don't need to work for a wage or salary, you are also a wage slave. At least I recognize my situtation. Since you seem to know everything, what is my solution? Bonus points for not answering "Start a small business!!!!!" like a tool.
You are a slave by your own consent.

toyota prius is EPA midsize
Which is odd considering that it is roughly 500 pounds lighter, 15 inches shorter, and has half the horsepower of every other midsize on the market.
Ah well, the EPA is hardly a credible source given their track record. Toyota obviously paid the appropriate bribes.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Biased much?
I currently own 2 Subarus and a Toyota. I've never owned a domestic car in my whole life.

Uhhh, the Prius is a mid-sized vehicle based on its interior passenger volume.

Well for god's sake there's a year or more waiting list to get the chance to buy a prius. When you've got that kind of demand for your products you pretty much win. Of course, once the new fuel efficiency standards kick in their sales will drop dramatically.

lets apply this logic

in order to purchase a Z6 Z06. you either are on a multi month waiting list, or you pay $100 grand for the car...

obviously GM is winning too.

dont forget the Solstice and the Sky waiting lists as well...

your logic doesnt make sense

That's a ridiculously narrow comparison and you f'ing know it. Toyota moved more than 280,000 prius's in the US in 2005, and there's STILL 30k on waiting lists. I haven't been able to find production numbers for the Z06, but I'm doubting if it was that many. Furthermore, this has been the trend for YEARS. Yes, Toyota has more going for it than merely prius, but even if you only look at prius it's obvious that they have a WINNING product. You don't get earnings by producing unwanted products. THAT was my point.

Where do you get your figures from? According to Toyota, they sold 107,897 Prius' in 2005. 😕

Ok, not sure exactly what they meant on the site I looked at then. There they listed 15k a month allotted and 100k additional imported, thus my figures.

The Camry sells about 400k+ a year, no way are there nearly as many Priuses as there are Camrys..
