Except for the fact that the lights wouldn't meet up with the hood or fenders properly (not to mention the contours on the hood & fenders are different wouldn't match that of an SC), necessitating those new parts. Mirrors are different as well. Doors could remain from the looks of it (length might be different). The rear would take an enormous investment to change (the rear of an SC would need to be chopped and put onto the Solara), so that would remain Solara-like: single-exhaust, different trunk lid, lights and all.
So for the price of:
- two fogs & brackets
- two headlights & brackets
- front bumper cover/fascia/grill
- two front fenders
- hood
- pair of rear-view mirrors
...and assuming you get it all color-matched (i.e. that the Solara and SC are available in identical colors), you'd have the front of an SC on your Solara. Of course, the car would probably still look less than desirable (in terms of being SC-like) from the side and especially the back. But you'd have your very own Lexota... and something to explain to the Toyota/Lexus dealership, friends, family, strangers, etc.
Oh, then there's the wheels... :Q
