Toyota Matrix: RIP ?

Went into a local toyota dealership to get some info on the matrix, first off when you walk in, they have this annoying person who looks like a receptionist who wants your name, address and phone # before you speak to a salesperson.. stop pissing off your customers toyota.

The salesman comes out and tells me the Matrix has been discontinued?

Pulled up Toyota's website on my phone and showed it to him, he said, sorry, we no longer carry that model. In fact, we sent them all back to Toyota.

Was i the victim of a moronic salesperson or is this true ?

Probably weren't selling well. Try another dealer. A local Toyota dealer told me I would have an easier time finding an AWD Sienna than an AWD Highlander in SoCal. What sense does that make? Guess he didn't think we were serious about buying?
