Might be just for my 98 ES300, but the manual that came with my car is crap. No instruction on where the fuse box is, instead it says to take to dealership. No instruction on the headlamps, instead take to dealership. No instructions on how to replace anything in fact. Everything it says take to dealership. This car is nothing but a glorified camry too.
 
You make by far the most useless posts so please save us the trouble of messing with you. This is the second thread you have posted on this issue. Are you too stupid to take you question to a LEXUS forum? I guess so.

Its a lexus - take it to the dealer - that is what the premium price tag is for.

If you wanted to fix-it-yourself - you should have bought a camry.
 
just figure it out yourself. who needs a manual to find a fusebox or how to change a headlight? if you need one, they're right, you should take it to the dealership. n00b.
 
Maybe Lexus is trying to imply that some owners are too dumb to work on their own cars...in this instance they seem to be right on.
 
They figured that if you have the $$$ to buy an overpriced Camry, then you have the $$$ to get every little thing in your car fixed/repaired at the dealership.

Yes, ES300 is an overpriced Camry 😛

I have no problem fixing my Lexus but then again I have an IQ that is divisible by a whole number larger than 1.

My honda accord includes directions on changing a headlamp, why not the lexsus.

Yeah, but you, unlike DVK916, can probably figure out where the fuse panel is without the manual.
 
Why do you need to access the fusebox? I've owned cars for years and never even wondered where the hell the fusebox is let alone needed to access it...although, if I did, I have a few ideas where to look on most cars.

If you want to do work on your car you should just buy a repair manual for it.
 
I know where the fuse box is, what I need to figure out is how to change the headlamps.

The fuse thing was mentioned because it took me over a day to figure out that the fuse box is located behind the coin compartment on the driver side. I needed to change a fuse a while ago.
