Toyota hike prices on their popular models

I will never buy another American car again. I've blown a head gasket on every fvcking GM and Chrysler product I've ever owned, and I'm quite tired of it.

Price hikes for Lexus vehicles won't make a dent. In fact, since they're introducing a new IS this year (and they recently introduced the new GS), sales should increase quite a bit.

Price hikes will also make little to no impact on the sale of the Camry. And again, Camry sales will increase once the redesigned 2007 model shows up (looks sweet).

For 4-door sedans, Toyota has the best looking lineup across their nameplate and luxery division than any other manufacturer. I wonder what the new Corolla will look like.

Wow... so we're assuming every purchase decision is based on looks alone?

I once said that I will not buy another GM, but I finally bought a Pontiac Vibe last month. It is almost the same car as the Toyota Matrix. I paid about $3000 below what I would pay for a similar equipped Toyota Matrix

That's a rebadged Toyota Matrix anyway. Same kind deal as the chevy/geo prizm.

Well quality and reliability aren't a question for people looking at a Toyota. Neither is resale value.

The reason the Mazda 3 and 6 are so popular is because they look quite sporty compared to the Corolla and Camry. I would say looks is a big part of the purchasing decision for many buyers.

does it drive like a matrix? I test drove the matrix, and felt that it was underpower.
